Here comes the greatest professional event of the American Continent. From march 8 to 14,the nacional attention will be focused on the 6° Knowledge Olympics and the world will be watching WorldSkills Americas first edition. Both competitions will simultaneously occur at the 571.000 Sq. meters of Riocentro with the same criteria and rules.

With the same format as tournaments in Europe and Asia, Worldskills Americas complies with rigorous international standards set by the WorldSkills Competition, an entity that promotes the world’s largest tournament in this area.

In this first edition, the Brazilian competitors participating in the Knowledge Olympics will have their grades compared with students from other Worldskills Americas countries so that the commission decides who gets the gold, silver and bronze medals. Worldskills Americas will host competitors from 28 countries in 20 professional categories.

The SENAI, with great experience in national and international competitions, expects more than 230 thousand visitors. It represents the incentive to experience sharing at a continental level and accreditation to the quality of professional education in Brazil.
